Our mounted lustre prints are an archival quality paper print that is mounted to a styrene backing and coated with a laminate coating. Our lustre prints are ready to frame. No mat or glass is required when framing them. Mounted lustre prints have a satin (matte) look.

Due to the laminate coating, a mounted lustre print does not need to be matted or put behind glass. The laminate coating protects the print from dust and scratches. Since the image has a satin (matte) finish it is less reflective than a glossy metal print. Depending on the style of frame selected, a mounted lustre print can give a modern or traditional look.
A float mount is a gatorboard block with a sawtooth metal bracket that is mounted on the back of a metal print. It creates a modern unframed look where the metal print appears to float from the wall. A float mount provides an easy hanging option for metal prints.

The surface can be cleaned by simply dusting with a soft duster or wiping with a clean, lint-free cloth. If needed you can also use a soft cloth with non-ammonia based window cleaner or water.
